Sugar was born April 7, 2003 at 10:00 PM. Her sire is Sugar Bars Doc, a foundation bred, 16H, APHA World Champion Producer. Her dam is Easter Maiden, a 15.2H Skipa Star bred APHA mare. Sugar is a loud tovero filly who caries the sabino, tobiano and probably the frame overo gene. We estimate that Sugar will mature to be close to 16H and considering her momma and daddy she can't help but be a "tank".  Sugar will be shown locally and considering her outstanding color and unbelievable "people friendly" disposition she more than likely will be added to our broodmare band after she's established herself in the show pen.

News Flash!! Sugar was pulled out of the pasture after a year of "retirement" this weekend. She went along as a babysitter to the weanlings but I couldn't resist showing her as well. She won her 3 & Over halter class out of 9 entries, placed 2nd of 8 in the Color class AND went back in to stand Overall Reserve Champion for the halter division. This gave us more than enough points to finish off her PAC Halter Certificate of Recognition! I'd forgotten how fun she is to show. If only I had enough hands to show them all!
