Brandy is Solid Paint Bred April baby. Her sire is Lucky Skip Shy and her dam is Precisette, a mare with top notch halter bloodlines. She is a great minded filly, one of the easiest I've ever had to work with. Brandy is bred to halter and perform and should mature around 15.2 hands. Her dam is HYPP n/n so she is as well. Please view her sire and dam's page for more information about them. Brandy is broke to tie, set her feet for halter, load, clip, wash and stand for the farrier. She will make an exceptional horse to halter and then take to the pleasure ring. Perfect disposition for a 4-H project or amateur showman. She's been hauled to 2 shows and already has a "been there, done that" attitude. She is really a great minded filly. She is currently in the breeding stock registry but does have a small white spot on her side. She "may" qualify for regular registry after she grows up a bit. She is being offered for sale - $1500. Will be shown until sold. Special consideration given to 4-H show home.

News Flash! Brandy is now a show veteran. She took 2nd place at the State Fair APHA show in the solid paint bred fillies class. A couple of weeks earlier we took her to the Johnston County Open show where she showed very well, earning a 1st in the 2 & under halter class, beating several yearlings and her sister Moon. What a terrific first show. She was exceptionally well behaved, especially since she had to stand tied to the trailer from 10:30am until after 5:00 when we finally got to show. I couldn't ask for a better first showing for a baby.
