6/25/09 - We took Fancy along to the June East Coast show just to play with her. She proved to be a very mellow mare, after blowing off a little steam on the lunge line Friday. She rode in a couple of Field Hunter classes on Sunday, doing very well. What a fun horse! 6/08/09 - Fancy is back home and is more than I could have hoped for. She has her mamma's sweet personality and is a kind, gentle soul. She is also absolutely georgous! She joins her half-sister Sugar and our old rescue mare Baby on our list of "keep forever" horses. 5/19/2009 - All In Stride is coming home! Fancy has had a career as a youth hunter in the Southwest for the last few years. Unfortunately she's had some soundness issues and is no longer suitable for jumping. Thanks to the generosity of Camille Nalle and her mom, Lida Lea, Fancy is being shipped back home all the way from Austin, TX. Here she will have a permanent spot in the pasture with her siblings, and maybe raise a few babies sometime in the future. I'm so excited to get this stunning mare back!
May 2004 - We call her FANCY and boy is she ever. Hunt Seat prospect deluxe! She has a "presence" that catches the eye immediately. This filly is bred to perform and should make a World Class huntseat prospect. Her sire is an APHA point earner in several events and a World Champion in Jumping. Her sire is 16.3H. She stood almost 14H at less than 6 months of age! She was born a "people pony" and nickers whenever you walk by. She'll leave mom to come running to you in the pasture. Loves attention but is not in any way spoiled. Fancy has been weaned and is ready to go. She is a light bay with 4 whites which will be really pretty against those dark legs. She does have plenty of white under her belly, partial blue eye and face white that will qualify her for regular papers. Fancy was foaled April 3, 2004 at 5:30 pm 2 Months old
