**One Ear has been sold. She has moved to Raleigh and will be
trained to ride! Can't wait to see those pictures. Congratulations to her new
owner, Alex!
One Ear is a bay mustang that I adopted in the fall of 2000. With lots
of work and "clicker" training she now stands to be caught and
haltered, led and allows us to handle her feet (to some extent, still working on
that!) She
gets her name
because the top half of her left ear is missing. I adopted her because
I felt sorry for her, she was very thin and that combined with her ear meant
that no one else would want her. I liked her markings and bone
structure so I decided to give her a chance - and what a nice mare she turned
out to be! She is a very nice
mover and would make an adorable hunter pony. She produced her first foal for us
in 2002, Friday (pictured above) and another carbon copy of herself in
June of 2003, Blaze. She is a great momma and passes on
her sweet personality, movement and outstanding feet and legs to her foals.
